Lazy Creek Vineyards

Lazy Creek is the place to visit if you want to taste artisanal wines made in a classic, elegant style. Josh and his wife are continuing the previous owner's insistence on crafting age-worthy wines that truly express the exceptional terroirs of the Anderson valley.
Once you drive the scenic 1/2 mile dirt road to reach the winery, you will find yourself in a little paradise consisting of small gardens and vineyards, and in the company of pigs and horses. Lazy Creek has the feeling of a true farm, and is light years away from the glossy Napa Valley wineries.
Josh is a talented winemaker who respects the terroir. It is evident that his goal is to craft true-to-type wines that will develop even more finesse and complexity with added bottle aging.

Wines Offered: The wine offered at Lazy Creek is high quality. The Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer are, year after year, the most exciting ones.

  Marc's selection:
  •    Gewuztraminer: I consider this Gewurztraminer to be one of the best made in California. Its blend of ripe aromas and freshness make this wine a benchmark in the world of Gewurztraminer wines.
