Moshin Vineyards

It took Rick Moshin 20 years of preparation and planing to finally build his dream winery in 2005. The Moshin winery is mostly a Pinot Noir house, which is the main reason for the development of a four-tier gravity flow winery, permitting the careful movement of Pinot Noir from crush pad to press to barrel to the bottling room without the use of the traditional pumps. Less disturbance for the wine means ultimately better finished wine.
The winemaking style at Moshin tends more towards balance, elegance, and natural acidity. Crisper wines are always welcome when you want to have your wine with food, which is why Moshin wines are the perfect complement to a numerous dishes.
Moshin winery is an interesting stop in the heart of the Russian River Valley, both for the wine quality and to learn about the art and technology involved in making world-class Pinot Noirs.
